In forex, the US dollar rose 0.04% intraday against the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH), with the current exchange rate at 6.71675. The US dollar rose 0.04% intraday against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY), with the current exchange rate at 158.135.
In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (EUSTX50) fell 1.17% intraday to 6,180.43 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) fell 0.11% intraday to 10,449.7 points; the Germany DAX 40 Index (GER40) fell 0.17% intraday to 24,944.7 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 0.21% intraday to $96.1/barrel. Brent crude oil rose 0.29% intraday to $107.1/barrel.
