Today's Hot Topic: Aave Extends Collateral Narrative to Securities and GPUs, Tokenomics 3.0 May Consider Burn Mechanism

Odaily News: Aave's current core expansion direction is to gradually extend collateralized lending from crypto assets to securities and more productive real-world assets. Related discussions mention that Aave V4 has launched tokenized stock lending on Base, initially supporting 7 U.S. stocks, allowing users to borrow USDC against their stock holdings without having to sell their positions directly.

Aave founder Stani divides the potential market into three stages: Crypto, Securities, and Abundance Assets. Future plans include covering assets such as solar energy, batteries, GPUs, robotics, and even space infrastructure, providing financing for these productive assets that can drive an "abundant society." Around this direction, some views suggest that Aave's long-term narrative has been planned out to 2050, with the scope of collateral expanding from crypto assets to securities, and then into the realm of real-world assets.

On the token mechanism side, AAVE currently mainly employs a buyback mechanism, but the related buybacks have been halted for a considerable period. Some views suggest that Aave Tokenomics 3.0 will consider incorporating a burn mechanism. As for whether these plans can be implemented, and whether market participants will allocate AAVE accordingly, it still depends on individual choices.
