Metaplex Launches Solana Permissioned RWA Token Standard MPL-3643

Odaily reports: Solana ecosystem tokenization platform Metaplex has announced the launch of MPL-3643, a new standard for permissioned real-world assets and tokenized securities on Solana, enabling issuers to issue assets directly on Solana without the need for a wrapped asset model.

The standard embeds transfer restrictions, lock-up periods, and compliance lifecycle management into assets, and is built on Token-2022, sRFC 37, and Solana Attestation Service. MPL-3643 has now entered a limited-access Alpha phase.
