Uniswap processed 140 million transactions in August, surpassing the combined total of two trading platforms

Odaily reports that ARK analyst Lorenzo Valente posted on X platform stating that Uniswap completed approximately 140 million transactions in August this year, surpassing the combined total of two trading platforms, Cboe BZX and NYSE American. NYSE American has been operating since 1908, while Uniswap launched in 2018; five years ago, Uniswap's monthly transaction count was only about 2 million.

Valente noted that by transaction count, Uniswap's next target to catch up with is NYSE Arca, which completed approximately 232 million transactions in August.
