Odaily News: According to Reuters, the U.S. Treasury will buy back up to $6 billion of U.S. Treasury bonds with maturities of 10 to 20 years on September 10, three times the size of the previous long-term bond buyback operation. The U.S. Treasury previously said it would at least double the size of long-term bond buybacks over the next quarter to improve market liquidity. Previously, U.S. Treasuries suffered a selloff, with the 30-year Treasury yield once rising to its highest level since 2007; after the news was announced, Treasury yields continued to rise, with the 10-year yield once touching 4.8528%, the highest since November 2023.
