Odaily reported that according to sources familiar with the matter, HGP Intelligent Energy plans to go public through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), with the transaction valuing the nuclear energy services company at approximately $1.2 billion. The company's technology is designed to enable nuclear reactors to flexibly adjust power output in response to real-time fluctuations in electricity demand from artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. The sources also indicated that the company will provide the same peak-shaving services to local power grids. (Bloomberg)
