The first Korean won stablecoin natively transferable across major DeFi ecosystems, KRW1, adopts the LayerZero OFT standard

Odaily News: LayerZero stated that BDACS, a South Korean digital asset custodian, has adopted LayerZero Labs' OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard for the Korean won-backed stablecoin KRW1, enabling native cross-chain interoperability. As a result, KRW1 has become the first Korean won stablecoin that can be natively transferred across major DeFi ecosystems. Its supply can flow seamlessly across networks without the need for wrapped tokens, thereby avoiding liquidity fragmentation.
