Odaily News AI model evaluation company Vals AI announced it has completed a $40 million Series A funding round at a $400 million valuation, led by a16z, with participation from 8VC, Pear VC, Bloomberg Beta, as well as HRT Ventures and Next Ladder Ventures. The new funds will be used to expand evaluation infrastructure and launch testing tools that create programming benchmarks based on enterprise GitHub code repositories.
