Odaily reported that the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration has released a series of policy measures (trial) to promote the legalized and standardized development of the e-cigarette industry. The document states that, based on the current state of the e-cigarette industry and aligned with national regional development strategies, the industry will be guided towards appropriate concentration in regions with an industrial foundation and suitable conditions. Raw material supply channels will be strengthened, and the provision of raw materials for e-cigarette production will be reasonably guaranteed.

The policies aim to adjust and optimize the industrial structure, strictly control new production capacity, reasonably manage the scale of production capacity, and prevent overcapacity. Guided by optimizing resource allocation and meeting market demand, the concentration of the industry will be maintained at a reasonable level, leading to the orderly exit of companies that cannot adapt to market competition.
