Odaily reported that according to feedback from community user @CG_BRC20, the Alkanes protocol has a serious bug allowing unlimited token minting. A certain address has just exploited this bug to mint an additional 100 million $DIESEL out of thin air. The assets cannot be displayed on the protocol's official Espo block explorer or the Subfrost interface. Users holding this asset should be aware of the risks. It is reported that the administrator of the official Alkanes Telegram group has temporarily stated that funds are safe.
