Gate Launches Stock Transfer Function, Making Cross-Broker Transfers for US and Hong Kong Stocks More Convenient

Odaily Odaily reports that Gate, a leading global crypto trading platform, has officially launched stock transfer-in and transfer-out functions, supporting cross-broker transfers for US and Hong Kong stock assets. Users can transfer their holdings from external brokers into Gate, or transfer their Gate stock account assets to other brokers. Gate does not charge any fees for transfers in or out. This service uses the FOP transfer method, with US stocks processed through the DTC system and Hong Kong stocks processed through the CCASS system. Users can experience this by updating the Gate App to version v8.26.0 or higher. Currently, this feature is being rolled out gradually, and users can follow subsequent version update information.

To celebrate the launch of the stock transfer function, Gate is simultaneously running a "Stock Transfer Bonus" event. Users who register between July 1, 2026, and July 7, 2026, and submit a transfer-in application during the event period to successfully transfer US or Hong Kong stocks held by external brokers into their Gate stock account, with the total market value of the transferred assets reaching 3,000 USDT equivalent or more, will be eligible for a cash subsidy based on the valid transfer fee voucher from the original broker and a VIP upgrade benefit. The maximum subsidy for US stocks is 15,000 USDT, for Hong Kong stocks it is 6,000 USDT, and the VIP level can be upgraded up to VIP 9.
