Gonka Launches GiP Regular Meeting Mechanism, First Session Focuses on Network Scalability
Odaily News Decentralized AI computing network Gonka recently announced the official launch of the Gonka Protocol Proposals (GiP) regular meeting mechanism. The first GiP session will be held at 1:00 AM on March 3 (UTC+8).
GiP is a community-oriented open technical forum aimed at discussing and advancing proposals that may fundamentally impact network capabilities in a periodic and structured manner. This includes discussions on core protocols, node architecture, and designs related to privacy and security.
It is reported that the first session will focus on network scalability, discussing how to improve inference throughput to handle high-frequency loads driven by AI Agents, and exploring upgrades to the Proof-of-Compute mechanism to simultaneously support large LLMs and the small embedding models commonly used by AI Agents.
Gonka stated that by institutionalizing GiP meetings, it aims to establish a more transparent, technology-driven, and sustainable protocol governance process within decentralized AI infrastructure, ensuring that network evolution is always subject to community review and ultimately adjudicated by the governance mechanism.
