Odaily Planet Daily reported that Thailand is planning to expand its domestic cryptocurrency exchange platform exchange-traded fund (ETF) program from Bitcoin to other digital tokens, with an expected launch early next year.

Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other relevant agencies are drafting rules for new ETFs offered by local mutual funds and institutions, Secretary-General Pornanong Budsaratragoon said, further elaborating on plans announced earlier this year (Bloomberg).
