Story partners with Barunson and Nproject, producers of "Parasite," to promote the blockchainization of Korean film and television IP.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Story, a blockchain platform focused on AI-native infrastructure and programmable IP, has announced a strategic partnership with renowned South Korean film production company Barunson and creative platform Nproject. Through this partnership, Story will integrate Barunson's core IP assets. Fans and creators will be able to create secondary works on the Nproject platform and share revenue with the original IP holders, jointly building a transparent and sustainable "on-chain economy."

Barunson is the producer of the Oscar-winning film "Parasite" and has led the establishment of the 340 billion won Korean Content Investment Fund. Its representative works also include "Parasite," "Insider," "The Closer," "The Good, the Bad, the Weird," and "Spider's Web." The three parties plan to further refine blockchain-based IP revenue models based on the MOU, accelerate the commercialization and ecosystem development of on-chain IP, and jointly promote the transformation of Korean content assets from simple consumer products to participatory and scalable assets.
