OKX Web 3 has been testing a similar product since 2023 but chose not to launch on mainnet due to regulatory concerns. Star also mentioned the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) enforcement action against Deridex in 2023 and expressed hope that the industry will gain regulatory clarity soon.
