Odaily Planet Daily News Online trading platform IG Group acquired a majority stake in Australian cryptocurrency trading platform Independent Reserve for A$109.6 million (US$72.4 million).

IG will reportedly acquire a 70% stake in the company initially, with the option to acquire the remaining 30% based on future performance. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and expected to close in early 2026, is valued at A$178 million (US$117.6 million). ( Coindesk )
