According to a recent Coingecko survey of the cryptocurrency community, 86.7% of respondents predicted that Bitcoin's price would exceed its previous high of $124,128 by the end of 2025. 40.1% of respondents made a more conservative prediction, believing that Bitcoin's all-time high this year would be between $125,000 and $150,000. 20.3% of respondents believed that Bitcoin could reach a new all-time high of $151,000 to $175,000 by the end of the year.
In contrast, institutional predictions for Bitcoin's price in 2025 are more aggressive. The most conservative institutional forecast comes from Bitget and VanEck, with a target of $180,000, while Fundstrat estimates that Bitcoin could reach $250,000 by the end of the year. This research is based on an anonymous survey of 2,549 cryptocurrency participants conducted by Coingecko between August 22 and September 11, 2025.
