Metaplanet announced the establishment of a new company, Bitcoin Japan Co., Ltd., focused on Bitcoin-related media, events, and platform operations. The new company, with registered capital of 10 million yen, will be headquartered in Japan and headed by MetaPlanet CEO Simon Gerovich and Wang Shenggui. The company's operations will include operating platforms such as Bitcoin.jp, Bitcoin Magazine Japan, and the Bitcoin Japan Conference, and plans to acquire the well-known Japanese Bitcoin domain name, Bitcoin.jp.

Additionally, Metaplanet announced the establishment of a new U.S. subsidiary, “Metaplanet Income Corp.”, to expand its Bitcoin income business.
