Quantum computing startup PsiQuantum Corp. has raised $1 billion in its latest funding round from investors including Nvidia, the Qatar Investment Authority, and Macquarie Capital. This round values the company at $7 billion. PsiQuantum, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, said the funds will be used to launch large-scale quantum computing facilities in Brisbane, Australia, and Chicago, USA, and to enhance its chip performance, among other projects.
