According to Deflama data, Ethereum's decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume exceeded $140.1 billion in August, setting a new monthly record. The number of active addresses reached 16.77 million during the same period, also a new all-time high. Ethereum's current TVL is $92.58 billion, still about 17% below its late 2021 bull market peak of approximately $108.8 billion.
