A user lost 4.35 BTC due to the theft of a fake hardware wallet purchased from an e-commerce platform

According to Odaily Planet Daily, SlowMist founder Yu Xian published an article on the X platform revealing that another user purchased a so-called imToken secure cold hardware wallet on JD.com. The user used a preset cold wallet initialized by scammers who had obtained the mnemonic phrase, resulting in the theft of 4.35 BTC.
