Tether CEO: Tether-backed brain-computer interface company Blackrock Neurotech is much more advanced than Neuralink

Odaily News Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that Blackrock Neurotech, a brain-computer interface company backed by Tether, is much more advanced than Musk's Neuralink.
In April 2024, Tether made a strategic investment of $200 million in Blackrock Neurotech, becoming the company's majority shareholder. Blackrock Neurotech was founded in 2008 at the University of Utah by scientists and brain-computer interface pioneers Dr. Florian Solzbacher and Marcus Gerhardt. Tether said at the time that using Blackrock Neurotech's technology, patients can operate robotic arms, manipulate wheelchairs, send messages, surf the Internet, and even drive cars - all of which can be achieved simply through the power of thought.
