BOB announces it has integrated deBridge to unlock more liquidity for Bitcoin DeFi
Odaily News The hybrid Layer2 project BOB (Build on Bitcoin) announced that it has successfully integrated the cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge. BOB will become the first Bitcoin Layer2 supported by deBridge.
deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3 that enables decentralized transfer of arbitrary messages and values between different blockchains.
Through this integration, the connection between more than 20 EVM and non-EVM public chain ecosystems (Solana, Berachain, Hyperliquid, Sonic, etc.) and the BOB ecosystem has been opened. Users can freely and seamlessly cross-chain and convert assets and data on these chains through deBridge. This will unlock new liquidity routes for Bitcoin DeFi, break the barriers between the Bitcoin ecosystem and other public chains, and also mark an important step for the Bitcoin network in building an interoperable ecosystem.
