Bybit asks ParaSwap DAO to refund transaction fees generated by hackers

Odaily News Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has confirmed that it has initiated a proposal to require decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol ParaSwap to return the fees incurred by the Lazarus hacker group when trading with digital assets stolen from the exchange. The proposal initially aroused suspicion, and several DAO members requested verification of the source of the proposal. Bybit published a verification post on its official X account on March 5, confirming that it initiated the proposal.
