Chainlink: OP Superchain Ecosystem Interoperable Stablecoin OpenUSDT has adopted Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers

Odaily News According to an official Chainlink post on the X platform, OpenUSDT, the interoperable version of the world's largest stablecoin USDT created for the OP Superchain ecosystem, now uses Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers. OpenUSDT_xyz now covers 7 chains, expanding Tether's support for $141 billion in assets in the multi-chain economy.
OpenUSDT is working with @Celo, @hyperlane, and @VelodromeFi to use Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers, enabling permissionless value transfer without vendor lock-in. In addition to using Celo as the central chain for 1:1 collateralization with native USDT, OpenUSDT is now available on the following chains:

• Lisk
• Mode
• Optimism
• Soneium
• Unichain
