EigenLayer and Cartesi collaborate to explore innovative use cases such as DeFi and AI

2025-02-01 02:40

Odaily News In January 2025, EigenLayer and Cartesi announced a partnership to build the next generation of decentralized applications (dApps) for mainstream users. This partnership will combine EigenLayer's re-staking protocol with Cartesi's Linux-based coprocessor technology to provide developers with strong technical support and promote Web3 innovation and the popularization of end-user applications.
This collaboration specifically targets areas such as AI, DeFi, games, and social networks, encouraging developers to build complex on-chain applications on the blockchain by reusing existing Web2 software libraries and tools. To this end, the two parties will hold the third "Experiment Week" internal hackathon event from February 10 to 17, 2025 to stimulate the creativity of core developers, build innovative dApp prototypes, and explore new use cases.
Felipe Argento, co-founder of Cartesi, said: “In the first two Cartesi Experiment Weeks, we have witnessed many amazing projects. This collaboration with EigenLayer makes me look forward to future achievements.”
Nader Dabit, Director of Developer Advocacy at EigenLayer, also said: “Cartesi’s Linux-powered Rollup technology enables developers to build complex on-chain applications using familiar tools. This event will fully demonstrate the potential of Cartesi technology in Web3.”
Through this collaboration, developers can not only take advantage of the security and scalability advantages brought by the EigenLayer re-staking protocol, but also rely on the Cartesi coprocessor to achieve full compatibility with the mainstream software industry.
