XRP Ledger native DEX swap volume reached $400 million in January, exceeding $1 billion since launch
Odaily News Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on January 28 that XRP Ledger's native DEX has reached $400 million in swap volume in January, an average of about $17 million per day. Since its launch in 2024, DEX has processed more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency swap transactions.
Garlinghouse went on to say that this rapid growth is one of several reasons why “2024 will be one of the most monumental years for Ripple.” Other factors include the “early but promising traction” of Ripple’s U.S. dollar stablecoin RLUSD, as well as several proposed XRP ETF applications.
He added that investment bank JPMorgan Chase & Co. estimates that an XRP ETF, including one proposed by asset managers Bitwise and WisdomTree, would attract more than $8 billion in inflows into XRP.
