Statistics: Number of Bitcoin wallets holding at least $100 near all-time high

Odaily News On-chain data shows that the number of wallets holding at least $100 in Bitcoin is approaching an all-time high. According to Binance, the number of wallet addresses holding $100 or more in Bitcoin surged from 24 million in January 2024 to nearly 30 million in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 25%.
Historically, spikes in the number of wallets holding $100 or more have occurred during bull runs, such as in late 2017 and 2021. A similar spike was observed in mid-2024, likely due to Bitcoin breaking the $100,000 milestone. (Cointelegraph)
