It is reported that a16z co-founders Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz have become supporters of Trump and have provided advice on technology policies. Previously, when US regulators cracked down on the crypto industry, Andreessen Horowitz announced in 2023 that it would focus on the UK cryptocurrency industry and opened its first overseas office in London.
