Strategist: Dollar will rise if Trump wins, fall if Harris wins

Odaily News Strategist Ebury said the dollar could rise if Trump wins the U.S. presidential election and fall if Harris wins. Ebury strategist Matthew Ryan said in a report that a Trump victory would boost the dollar, especially if the Republicans also control the Senate and the House of Representatives, as investors factor in U.S. tax cuts, higher Federal Reserve interest rates, rising protectionism and rising geopolitical risks.
