Odaily News According to official news, Swell L2 is migrating to Optimism Superchain. This move will allow Swell L2 to join the Superchain as an Optimistic Rollup built on OP Stack. OP Stack is an Ethereum-consistent expansion solution that uses the same modular open source and MIT-licensed code base to power all blockchains in the Superchain, focusing on parallel development, openness, and transparency. As a re-staking yield layer, Swell will bring re-staking yield and security to the Superchain. This will be achieved through Swell L2's unique re-staking proof mechanism, which will maximize the capital efficiency of staked assets and drive their growth, liquidity, and security. In order to meet the requirements of the Superchain, Swell L2's design will undergo some minor changes. These include using ETH as the gas token for its rollup and donating part of the sorter revenue to the Optimism Collective. As part of this strategic transformation, Swell will no longer use Polygon CDK, but still believes in the aggregate ecosystem that Polygon is building.
