On-chain image verification project Overlai launches beta version of its mobile app and Adobe plugin on Aptos

Odaily News Overlai, a blockchain project for image authentication co-founded by photographers Paul Nicklen and Cristina Mittermeier, has announced the beta launch of its mobile app and Adobe plugin on Aptos. The team says: “Once an image is authenticated on Overlai, a process that can be completed in just a few clicks, creators can upload the asset to any digital media and retain full ownership. No matter how many times the photo is screenshoted, compressed or converted, Overlai’s invisible watermark is securely stored on the Aptos blockchain with the creator’s credentials and remains intact — a pressing need amid the rise of generative AI.” (CoinDesk)
