Australian crypto industry body Blockchain Australia changes its name to DECA

Odaily News In order to attract more fintech companies and banks, Australia's top crypto industry body Blockchain Australia has removed the technology from its name and changed its name to the Australian Digital Economy Committee (DECA). DECA plans to establish eight member categories, including encryption and Web3, tokenization, government and charity, payment and banking. The rebranding comes at a time when CEO Simon Callaghan resigned as CEO, and former operations director Amy-Rose Goodey became managing director. (Cointelegraph)
