Chainlink upgrades its staking mechanism and the size of its staking pool reaches 45 million LINK

Odaily News The decentralized computing protocol Chainlink has upgraded its native Stake mechanism, launched Chainlink Stake v0.2, and expanded the size of the pledge pool to 45 million LINK. A nine-day priority migration period will be carried out to allow existing v0.1 stakers to transition their staked LINK and rewards to the new version. According to a statement, access will be extended to other participants through the early access and general access phases from December 7 and December 11 respectively, enabling users to stake up to 15,000 LINK. It is reported that this expansion is part of Chainlink’s Economic 2.0 plan, which aims to add an additional layer of security to the network. (The Block)
