Offchain Labs: Arbitrum’s fraud proof has not been used in two years since launch

Odaily News Ed Felten, co-founder and chief scientist of Offchain Labs, the developer of Arbitrum, said at Korea Blockchain Week that no fraud proofs have been submitted on Arbitrum since the mainnet with built-in security features was first launched in August 2021. Felten said that because malicious validators risk losing their entire token share, there are few attempts to submit fraud proofs. Additionally, Arbitrum is launching a new version of the BOLD protocol. (Cointelegraph) Previous news on August 4, Offchain Labs announced the launch of the permissionless verification protocol Bounded Liquidity Delay (BOLD) to resolve the Rollup controversy. This verification method provides a fixed upper limit of 7 days of additional confirmation delays without suffering Delayed attack.
