Odaily news Connext core contributor Arjun Bhuptani posted on the X platform that the address starting with 0x44Af is a witch bot, which may also be the reason why the airdrop application interface cannot be used. The bot sent a large number of garbage requests to the Tokensoft background, causing its API to crash. Earlier on-chain data showed that addresses starting with 0x44Af collected NEXT airdrops from 230 addresses, and sold all of them to exchange for ETH, USDT and USDC, making a profit of about 39,000 US dollars. According to previous news, Connext is cooperating with Tokensoft to launch cross-chain airdrop as a service. Through this service, airdrop recipients can claim tokens on any chain without bridging or incurring additional gas fees, and the service will be activated with the next airdrop.
