Bitcoin advocate Samson Mow: BIP-110 only receives partial node support, lacking the three-pronged support base of BIP-148

Odaily Planet Daily News: Bitcoin advocate Samson Mow stated in a post that comparing BIP-110 to BIP-148 from 2017 is not accurate. BIP-148 at the time received participation from developers, exchanges, wallets, miners, and large holders, with support from economic weight, hash power, and nodes; whereas BIP-110 currently mainly has partial node support. Mow also pointed out that SegWit was ultimately driven by BIP-91 pushing miners to adopt BIP-141, with BIP-148 serving as a credible threat but never truly undergoing a chain split test. MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor retweeted the post.
