Odaily News, Axel Adler Jr stated on platform X that from August 18 to 28, the 30-day cumulative distribution volume by Bitcoin long-term holders increased from 174,500 BTC to 281,900 BTC, reaching the highest level since 2026 on August 28. This metric accelerated during the rebound following a short squeeze in Bitcoin. During the same period, the long-term holder MVRV rose from 1.31 on August 18 to 1.64 on August 27, with August 31 recording 1.60, indicating that the market value of Bitcoin held by long-term holders is approximately 60% higher than the average realized value.
