Trump Media Abandons Truth Predict, Teams Up with Crypto.com to Promote Prediction Market Products
Odaily News – Media company Trump Media has abandoned its plans to build a prediction market directly into its social platform Truth Social, and will instead promote the existing prediction market products of cryptocurrency trading platform Crypto.com to users through a marketing agreement.
Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of Trump Media, stated that the prediction market industry has become a competitive field with established companies, and that the company will focus its resources on its media business and its proposed merger with fusion energy company TAE Technologies.
Truth Predict was unveiled in October 2025 and was originally planned to allow users to trade contracts covering elections, inflation, interest rates, commodities, and sports through Crypto.com's Derivatives North America division. Trump Media also indicated that it may explore similar arrangements with other prediction market providers in the future. (Bitcoin.com News)
