Iranian Parliament Speaker: Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until conditions are met

Odaily News – On the 18th local time, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until the United States unfreezes Iranian assets, lifts oil sanctions, ceases military threats and operations on all fronts, and fulfills other conditions of the memorandum of understanding. Ghalibaf noted that the opportunity presented by the memorandum of understanding in lifting blockades and achieving a ceasefire helps strengthen Iran's economic resilience and rebuild its defense capabilities.
