10x Research: Bitcoin trading volume shrinks significantly, price volatility narrows to multi-month lows
Odaily News, 10x Research's latest report notes that Bitcoin trading volume has fallen to a fraction of the levels seen after the US presidential inauguration and during last October's flash crash peak, while prices have entered one of the narrowest trading ranges in months. Historically, such low-volatility states have rarely persisted for long.
Additionally, options flows indicate that traders' market confidence is shifting, and positions have begun to adjust. Bitcoin's implied volatility has also dropped to levels rarely seen outside the summer doldrums, while ETF inflows remain weak and stablecoins continue to flow out of the crypto market. Strategy, once one of the market's most consistent buyers, has now been a seller for four consecutive weeks.
