DeepSeek announces price adjustment plan, effective August 17

Odaily News: DeepSeek has officially announced an update to its API pricing, adopting peak-valley pricing, where off-peak rates will be half of peak rates. Peak hours are Beijing time 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 (remaining hours are off-peak). The new pricing will take effect from 00:00 Beijing time on August 17, 2026. (Jin10)
