ZeroDev founder Derek Chiang joins Ethlabs to push Ethereum technology into real-world products and commercial use cases

Odaily News – Derek Chiang, founder of ZeroDev and former Offchain team member, has announced his join of Ethlabs, stating that the focus will be on bringing Ethereum technologies such as real-time proofs, light clients, and fast confirmation into actual products and commercial scenarios. He noted that adoption of many underlying Ethereum technologies still lags significantly behind their potential—for instance, some cross-chain bridges still rely on multi-signature verification for L1 deposits. He hopes Ethlabs will serve as the market-facing force for Ethereum technology, convincing developers through technical and product advantages rather than ideology.
