Iran's Supreme National Security Council: The Strait Will Not Reopen Unless the US Accepts Iran's Conditions

Odaily News: Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Rezaei issued a statement: "The US is the creator of insecurity in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman, placing the entire region in danger by imposing an illegal war on Iran. The Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless the US changes its behavior and accepts Iran's conditions. The US must end the war, release Iran's frozen funds, and bring an end to the wars across the entire region, including Lebanon and Gaza, in addition to meeting other conditions conveyed to the US through intermediaries. If Iran and Oman reach an agreement regarding transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz, that agreement will be handled separately from the issue of the strait's closure." (Jinshi)
