SushiSwap's history as a "chef"
Two days ago, Twitter user YannickCrypto tweeted accusing SushiSwap’s new CEO, Jared Gray, of being an encryption fraudster andListed a number of its "crimes", the tweet sparked heated discussions in the community, and once caused the price of SUSHI tokens to fluctuate violently. On the second day of the incident, the protagonist of the incident, Jared Gray, the new CEO elected by the SushiSwap community, responded to these allegations one by one:
More recently, YannickCrypto.eth, a community member of my former CEO company ALQO, accused me of being a "fraud" after I joined SushiSwap as CEO, but his unfounded accusations increased attention and push Pay special attention to volume.
I wanted to write a succinct post to respond to each of the accusations this person made against me, to demonstrate that these so-called accusations were in fact rumours, and to give us all a little more insight into my professional background.
Allegation 1: As early as 2012, Jared Gray defrauded some users through his company "MultiPlex PC",and multiple copyright infringements。
Rebuttal: I unknowingly signed with a copyright-infringing SEO company on behalf of MultiPlex PC, a hardware parts e-commerce company. After realizing that they violated copyright, I tried to rectify the situation. However, the SEO company's infringement has taken its toll, and I have attempted to settle with the infringed company in the best possible way.
Allegation 2: Jared Gray became the CEO of ALQO in 2019 (why did he delete all content related to ALQO on social media?), and soon after he launched a web wallet on ALQO and stole ALQO tokens held by users, accounting for 70% of the total supply.
Rebuttal: I was the CEO of ALQO before, and it was there that I met community member Yannick for the first time. ALQO was later transformed and renamed EONS. This information is still available on my LinkedIn.
The "theft" incident mentioned by Yannick came from the fact that the ALQO tokens in the ALQO internal network wallet were stolen by an insider in the technical team using a technical loophole. I was not personally involved in the theft, but was involved in the investigation of the theft and the process of refunding community members.
Allegation 3: Together with developer Kevin Collmer, he deceived his clients by asking several project founders to pay him 1 BTC for listing on the exchange Bitfineon, but the tokens were not listed on the exchange. I know from talking to some people that he scammed about 20 bitcoins in this way.
Rebuttal: Bitfineon is the exchange I run and part of the EONS/ALQO ecosystem. The exchange charges a technical fee of 1 BTC to cover the development and operational costs of integrating and listing new tokens. Bitfineon is operational and does exist, it is a functional digital asset exchange and has launched several new tokens under my supervision as CEO.
Allegation 4: In 2020, he renamed ALQO to EONS and transferred tokens from his own blockchain to ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum. This will most likely erase all traces that can be traced back to ALQO. This vote to elect Jared Gray as CEO makes me completely disappointed in SushiSwap.
Rebuttal: ALQO does have its own blockchain, and many other tokens, such as MATIC, AVAX, and TRX, have ERC-20 versions of their tokens to improve transaction liquidity. For the same reason, we also have ERC-20 versions of ALQO and EONS, listed on Ethereum-based DEXs and centralized exchanges.
Allegation #5: It appears that Jared Gray was also involved inmore scams, what will you (SushiSwap) do?
Rebuttal: I was one of the multisig signers of a project called Encore, founded by an anonymous user named Pika who was then doxxed at the age of 14. I defended him on social media and in public because I don't think a 14-year-old should take on that responsibility.
Allegation 6: Reply from J-Crypto ( @jcryptooooo ): Is this the guy who raped the horse?
Rebuttal: Jared Gray is a common name - there is a male porn star with my name. A few years ago, he asked me if he could buy my Twitter Handle.
Horse sex abuse videos, if they exist (I've never seen them before), are probably made by porn star Jared Grey, not me.
It frustrates me that there are so many false accusations going viral on Twitter lately that are not supported by any substantive evidence.
I feel like I missed a window of opportunity to officially introduce myself to the SushiSwap community. So I wrote an essay about my education, professional resume and personal backgroundblog post。
Regarding the defamatory remarks on Twitter, I may not clarify it on Twitter but elsewhere.
