British cryptocurrency mining firm Argo Blockchain revealed on Wednesday that its chief executive, Peter Wall, is now the first public company executive to be paid his entire salary in bitcoin.

In an update to its February operations report, Argo (listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ARB) said that starting Monday, Wall began receiving his salary in cryptocurrency, "which any other Argo team member can choose to pay in cryptocurrency."
