Neon EVM launches Beta Test Version on Solana Mainnet

Odaily News: Solana EVM compatibility solution Neon EVM recently announced the launch of its Beta version, Neon EVMβ, on the Solana mainnet.
Neon EVMβ is a fully functional Neon EVM that supports free transactions. This means that all transactions will settle on Solana L1 and require payment of settlement fees in SOL. In the Beta version, proxy operators responsible for accepting transaction requests and ensuring transaction completion will not require payment in NEON tokens.
Neon EVMβ provides an opportunity for its ecosystem participants to deploy and test their services to ensure seamless integration before the official launch on the Solana mainnet.
By launching its Beta version, the Neon EVM team can introduce and test the services of ecosystem participants in a controlled stage. The first phase involves the onboarding of infrastructure components, followed by the acceptance of Dapps and testing of wallet connections. When the testing period ends and NEON tokens become available on the market for payment of transactions, NEON EVM will switch back to normal operation mode. This means that independent proxy operators (P2P and Everstake) will resume their responsibility for accepting and processing transactions. RPC endpoints of proxy operators will be available on ChainList.
