July 4, 2026 – Multi-asset CFD broker Vantage Markets (“Vantage”) today announced the launch of XAUUSD247. This follows the recent announcement by CME Group of its plans to extend trading in select gold futures products to 24/7 (subject to regulatory review). XAUUSD247 is a standalone over-the-counter (OTC) CFD product offered by Vantage.
Marc Despallieres, Chief Executive Officer of Vantage, stated: “Supported by a transparent product mechanism and clear trading controls, XAUUSD247 provides eligible clients with access to gold CFD trading outside of standard market hours.”
Subject to scheduled platform maintenance and regional availability, XAUUSD247 is tradable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays.
The contract size for this product is 1 ounce, compared to the 100-ounce contract size of Vantage’s traditional XAUUSD product. No separate trading commission is charged, but spreads, funding costs, and other applicable charges may apply. Tiered leverage of up to 100:1 is available depending on position size, account type, and applicable trading conditions. For eligible accounts holding both long and short positions simultaneously, a one-sided margin calculation method is applied.
As part of its risk management framework, XAUUSD247 incorporates net risk and gross risk exposure limits at the account level. When an applicable risk exposure threshold is reached, the account will enter a “close-only” mode until the risk exposure falls back below the relevant limit. Applicable spreads, funding charges, leverage, exposure limits, and other trading conditions may vary depending on the client's account type, region, and the applicable Vantage entity.
