Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net inflow of $189 million yesterday, Hashdex DEFI announced delisting
According to Odaily, based on SoSoValue data, Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $189 million yesterday (August 18, Eastern Time).
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's ETF IBIT, with a net inflow of $144 million. IBIT's historical total net inflow currently stands at $61.4 billion.
Next was Fidelity's ETF FBTC, with a single-day net inflow of $23.92 million, bringing FBTC's historical total net inflow to $10.02 billion.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the largest single-day net outflow yesterday was VanEck's ETF HODL, recording a net outflow of $16.92 million. HODL's historical total net inflow currently stands at $1.07 billion.
In addition, Hashdex's Bitcoin spot ETF DEFI has initiated closure and liquidation procedures due to factors such as asset size, trading liquidity, and operational costs. Trading on NYSE Arca ended on August 17, and the fund will subsequently be delisted. The fund began liquidating its remaining Bitcoin holdings on August 18 and is expected to pay cash liquidation proceeds to holders around August 24. According to Bloomberg data, DEFI's assets under management amounted to approximately $7.28 million as of July 30.
As of press time, the total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs stands at $79.3 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio (market value as a proportion of Bitcoin's total market capitalization) reaching 6.12%. Historical cumulative net inflows have reached $52.28 billion.
