AMD Acquires AI Inference Chip Company Taalas

This acquisition is intended to enhance AMD's technological advantages in the fast-growing AI inference market and further advance its AI computing roadmap.

AMD stated that it plans to integrate Taalas technology into its AMD Instinct GPU and AI accelerator roadmap to develop system-level AI computing solutions.
